The First Scania Omni Range Busses in Central Europe Received by Cedok

Prague (28 April 2010) – Cedok travel company has today taken over from Scania Czech Republic the first two new busses of the Scania OmniExpress range in Central Europe. The Omni range vehicles have so far been delivered mainly to the Scandinavian market and to selected European countries.

The busses are of the "large coach" category. The capacity of the vehicle is forty-nine passengers and two drivers. The price of one bus amounts to € 227,000. In selecting the busses Cedok put much emphasis not only on safety, quality and comfort but also on their environmental operation – emission limits satisfy the EURO 5 standard without the need to use the AdBlue additives. Scania OmniExpress will thus be among the most advanced and safest coaches not only on Czech roads.

Cedok coaches will be used both by incoming foreign tourists and by Czech travelers on sightseeing and outgoing tours abroad.

Cedok transport fleet includes forty-two vehicles. Besides ten large coaches by Volvo, Scania, Neoplan and Renault it features also small busses and limousines. The vehicles are used not only to cover the needs of Cedok but also provide transport to domestic and foreign travel companies in the Czech Republic and abroad.
